The Ocean Wave pads for your disc magnet guarantee scratch-free and deeply-cleaned aquarium panes! The attachments have a rough velcro side with which they adhere to the cleaning surface of the algae magnets – and to all commercially available standard algae magnets. The 90x80mm size means that the attachments protrude slightly above the magnetic surface. If required, you can use scissors to cut the Ocean Wave attachments to the desired size. The 8mm-thick version is great for exerting a lot of pressure on the disc, so it will remove even the most stubborn algae quickly and thoroughly. Even the feared green spot algae will simply fall off the glass in terror when they see the Ocean Wave Pad coming towards them!

 

Please remember that the cleaning result always depends on the thickness of the glass and the thickness of the Ocean Wave attachment. A strong algae magnet is ideal. This will give you the best cleaning results in combination with an 8 mm or 11 mm Ocean Wave attachment.
All our cleaning pads are non-scratch and gentle on glass. Still, to avoid unsightly and annoying scratches in the aquarium glass, you should always make sure that there is no gravel or sand between the cleaning pad and the glass.

 

Before using the Ocean Wave attachments in your aquarium for the first time, wash the pads lightly with tap water before use – then it’s all systems go! Remember, you don’t have to dispose of the attachments after just one cleaning job – you can use them often! Just wash and wring out the dirty Pentagon Pads thoroughly under tap water a few times, then allow them all to dry.
