HS Denibac the bacterial waste scavenger

HS aqua Denibac is a bacterial culture with a double effect. Surpluses of plant nutrients (nitrate) are extracted from the water (denitrifying bacteria) and sludge is broken down. In this way, HS aqua Denibac cleans your aquarium and prevents troublesome algae growth.

HS aqua Denibac is a special bacterial culture for nitrate removal and sludge reduction in freshwater aquariums. Natural sludge and nitrates are created from fish waste, leftover food and other waste. Plants and algae can use these waste materials again. However, an excessive supply of these substances can disrupt an aquarium and cause explosive algae growth.
It should also be realized that there is a constant supply and removal of nitrates in the aquarium. Bacteria in oxygen-rich conditions produce the nitrate while plants and algae reabsorb the nitrate. An increased nitrate content in the aquarium water shows that this balance has been disturbed because the supply is greater than the output. It is therefore first of all important to reduce the supply of nitrate (fish feed, plant waste, etc.)!

tip!!!

Before applying HS aqua Denibac, it is best to first remove large amounts of waste such as dead leaves and food remains from the aquarium. In case of doubt about the water quality, a partial water change can be applied beforehand. Higher temperatures promote the effect of HS aqua Denibac. Temperatures up to 28 ºC can be safely used in most aquariums. A strong air bubble stream or the use of a diffuser can reduce the effect of the bacteria in HS aqua Denibac.
