HS aqua Phosphate Minus is an iron-based filter material that binds phosphates and filters them out of the water. This inhibits and prevents thread algae growth.

500 ml is sufficient for 500-1000 l aquarium water depending on the initial concentration of phosphate.
1000 ml is sufficient for 1000-2000 l aquarium water depending on the initial concentration of phosphate.
Replace the material after 3 months or after an increase in the phosphate level.

Note: the usual phosphate tests only show the free phosphate in the water. However, phosphate has the
tendency to form bonds with itself and with other minerals present in the water. This means
that more phosphate may be present in the water than the phosphate test indicates. Is the first large amount
removed, the bound phosphates are released again and can be measured again.
