HS aqua Bacto is a bacteria starter culture that shortens the start-up of the aquarium. In your aquarium, the useful bacteria of HS aqua Bacto break down the waste products (food and plant residues, fish waste) into harmless nutrients for the plants. The harmful intermediate substances (ammonia and nitrite) are converted particularly quickly into the non-toxic nitrate.
